We had Seabass for our dinner last week. It has become a very popular fish recently. Nice to cook skin side down for a crispy texture. Also it provides an extra boost of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and essential vitamins and minerals. You would think that after selling fish all week the last thing I’d want to eat when out would be fish but we love it. We were at Creel Caught for lunch on Saturday in Edinburgh. I had monkfish scampi , my daughter had fish tacos and although I don’t have a picture Mairead had gluten free fish and chips. You could recreated these tasty dishes if you’re looking for inspiration. We have a limited amount of monkfish onboard but plenty of haddock which is getting bigger. If you like you can order ahead. We have got a limited supply of dressed crab on the van tomorrow .
Would you like one?
Send us a little message as we don’t want you to miss out.
We used our crab this week to make a gluten free version of PAPPARDELLEPEA & LEMON CRAB… it was absolutely delicious!
The dressed crab would also be so delicious on a warm crusty roll or slice of sour dough with some of our beautiful seaweed butter .
