Armagh Show 2026 – National Hereford Show
What a fantastic day at Armagh Show, which proudly hosted the National Hereford Show 2026. With an impressive entry of 67 Hereford cattle, spectators were treated to a tremendous display of quality, breeding, and stockmanship throughout the day.
A huge well done to all exhibitors who travelled from near and far to support the event. The classes were exceptionally strong from start to finish, showcasing the depth and quality within the Hereford breed and making the judge's task no easy one.
We were delighted to see Nancy Jack Daniels place 2nd in a very competitive bull class.
Congratulations to Nathanial Shaw on being awarded Supreme Champion, and to John Gill on securing Reserve Supreme Champion. A tremendous achievement for both exhibitors.
To top off a wonderful day, the Hereford breed went on to win Best Display of Cattle in the Grand Parade, a fitting recognition of the outstanding standard of cattle on show and the dedication of all those involved.
A special word of thanks to Brian Morton for manning the Hereford Tea Tent throughout the day at Armagh Show. Volunteers like yourself play a vital role in the success of the day, and your hard work behind the scenes certainly did not go unnoticed.
As another successful Armagh Show comes to a close, we would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all the volunteers, organisers, stewards, sponsors, exhibitors, judges, and committee members who work tirelessly to make the show such a success year after year.
The show remains a highlight in the agricultural calendar, bringing together communities, families, breeders, and exhibitors from near and far. It is a wonderful celebration of farming, friendship, and community spirit.
It was a fantastic showcase of the Hereford breed today and a credit to everyone involved.
Well done to all, and we look forward to doing it all again next year.
