We are an independent specialist food shop with an impressive selection of food and wines, located at the foot of the High Street in Arundel, the historic heart of the South Downs in West Sussex. Whether sourced locally here in Sussex, from elsewhere in Britain or from further afield, we endeavour to stock products of interest and quality that are not widely available in the supermarkets.

New! Light, summery, delicious: a brand new flavour of quiche from the lovely folk Christian Barrington in Chichester.

Packed with petit pois, cherry tomatoes, basil and Twineham Grange cheese - perfect for picnics or a light supper. Serve with salad, Nutbournetomato and our handmade coleslaw ☀️🥗 🍅

It's National Cheese & Wine Day!

We have a delicious selection over c100 British & European cheeses this week, alongside over 250 wines - including a growing selection of local producers.

Our cheeses are delivered several times a week from our incredibly knowledgeable cheesemongers Neal's Yard Dairy The Fine Cheese Co. Jumi Cheese Une Normande À Londres Brindisa Spanish Foods and The Cheese Man

Our wines focus on smaller, independent producers from Europe, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and - of course! - the UK.

It's English Wine Week 🥂
Coordinated by Wines of Great Britain English Wine Week is a nationwide campaign dedicated to celebrating the quality and diversity of English wines.

We're lucky enough to be in Arundel - the heart of the 'Sussex Winelands' - home to over 100 vineyards.

Many of our lovely local vineyards have tours and tastings running all summer - a great way to learn about the wines and soak up the gorgeous scenery whilst sipping on some wonderful wines.

Whilst we don't stock all one hundred vineyards (yet!), we do have a great selection for you to choose from including:

Delighted to be displaying Timothy Fluck in our windows as part of Sussex Craft Week,
Organised by ROSA.

From 20-28 June, Sussex Craft Week, Celebrating Makers comes to Arundel. The town becomes a living celebration of country and heritage craft, making and creativity.

We're very excited to be showcasing Tim's work. A ceramics artist based in Sussex, he has gained recognition for his unique approach, pushing the boundaries of ceramic art.

He joins many other artists with window displays and exhibitions in Arundel this week. Pop in to pick up a Trail Guide!

New whisky alert! 🥃 Delighted to be working with Ascalon - handcrafted English Whisky from English oak.

Ascalon produce two single malts both made from English barley and matured in English oak barrels handmade by their own Coopers:

- The Valley of Smoke: a beautifully peated single malt. Rich and complex with touch spice and black pepper
- Golden Falls: an unpeated single malt. Notes of honey, toffee, hedgerow and orchards fruits
