WIN AN ALBION HEIFER!

Member, Richard Toon, with the beautiful Okeover herd of Albions from near Ashbourne, Derbyshire, has kindly offered up a heifer to be raffled.

This is not only to build funding for ACS but to publicise the breed so that more farmers may get to know the breed and consider them. Whether Albions are for meat or milk, they have some great traits which can suit farming in these times. Commercial farmers could consider them when cross breeding, adding more milk and hardiness to beef suckler herds or increasing calf value and hardiness in dairy herds.

✨FOR SALE✨

We have for sale 20+ rearing calves (bulls and heifers), up to 6 weeks old, by the Albion bull out of our black and white dairy cows.

We reared some heifers for ourselves last year and we think they are going to make some very useful dairy/suckler replacements (see final photo). However, shortage of space means we have a surplus of calves this year.
