Introducing our expert content creation and videography judges… Danny & Jade from The Social Socket Collective 🩷

Danny & Jade are the duo behind The Social Socket, working across weddings, bridal fashion and events. With years of experience in content creation, they’re joining us to judge one of our brand new categories for 2027, bringing their knowledge of creating beautiful videos to the judging panel.

Returning to the 2027 Kent Wedding Awards judging panel is … Kylie Christie from The Old Kent Barn 🩷

Now in her third year as a judge for the Kent Wedding Awards, Kylie brings over 15 years of knowledge and experience in the wedding industry to the judging panel.

And as a former Kent Wedding Awards winner, she knows what it takes to be amongst the best in the industry.

We’re so excited to be working with her again for 2027!

Introducing our expert entertainment judge… Amelia Possee

Despite joining the industry just a few years ago, Amelia Plays Piano has crafted a unique style of piano music which has become popular within the industry, earning her the title of Live Performer of the Year at last year’s Kent Wedding Awards.

It’s no surprise that our expert wedding planning and coordinating judge is once again joining us to judge some of Kent’s standout wedding businesses.

With experience in venue management and wedding planning, Kayleigh brings a real understanding of what goes on behind-the-scenes, as well as the passion needed to bring a couple’s big day dreams to life.

Introducing our expert Wedding Make-Up judge… Amy Charlotte 🌟

With nearly 10 years of experience in the makeup industry, Amy Charlotte - Makeup Artist has worked across fashion, television, editorial and media, but her real passion is occasion and bridal makeup, creating beautiful looks that make brides feel like the very best version of themselves.

She shared: “What I’m most looking forward to about judging is having the opportunity to discover and celebrate someone truly deserving within our wonderful industry. I’m looking for that natural creative flair - someone who consistently brings something special to their work, while remaining passionate and grounded.”

Now it’s over to our judges, who will begin reviewing your submissions shortly and admiring the incredible weddings you’ve helped create.

If you’re still planning to send us physical evidence to support your entry, email [email protected] NOW to arrange the best date and time to do so.

For those who have entered the Cake Designer, Caterer, Chef / Banqueting team and Florist categories, keen an eye on your inboxes for all the details about your physical samples for judging.
