The countdown is on! 🍂 Our tours run through to October and once the season ends that’s it until next year. We currently have space on the following shared tours -

📆 Saturday 3rd October - 11am & 2pm

📆 Saturday 31st October - 2pm

Behind the Vines | Stage 5 - Final Harvest Checks 🍇

Before harvest kicks off, Martyn makes his final grape checks. 🍇

He walks the vines looking at ripeness. If some grapes are under-ripe they are removed to keep the crop balanced - it’s not just about hitting the highest sugar levels, the acidity needs to settle to a good level too. At this point the grapes were close to ready and a couple of days later this block was picked and sent off to be pressed and become our next release of still Rosé.🍷

He really should wear a step counter, there are ALOT of rows to check! Maybe that can be a future competition.. guess Martyn’s step count 😆

We’re right in the middle of harvest maddness now and this feels like a distant memory already. We’re excited to get back to harvesting this Sunday.

We wanted to share a little sneak peek at something!

Our engraved Nine Oaks flask sample which comes complete with 2 cups - perfect for keeping a bottle of Nine Oaks wine chilled on a picnic, camping, a trip to the beach or a walk amongst the vines. Alternatively you can fill it with a something warm on a chilly winter walk. We love how it turned out, but we want to know what you think!
