After 7 wonderful years, the time has come 💕 to say thank you and goodbye ###
We are now closed and would like to thank you again to everyone who has helped us and supported us. Family and friends helping to get the cafe ready and open. Then a huge thank you to anyone who has ‘volunteered’ here too (without pay but always with food in their belly!) drivers during covid times and our lovely neighbours. So many to mention but you know who you are. A very special mention to the amazingly talented cake lady too 🥰.
It’s been so good to us as a family, we know the hours have been flexible in our favour but that is why we took the cafe. Trying to balance work and family while the children were small and running a small successful business.
Working with other local businesses over the years has been fun, meeting passionate foodies to talk about everything food related.
We have the best regular costumers ever and have really got to know each so well, made friends for life and so many amazing memories to hold on too. We have loved the cafe conversations about family, weekends, holidays and life events. Even when my face said I wasn’t listening or enjoying them 😂.
We wish to say thank you to you all, Ashtead has been kind to us and we hope to see you all in the future. The new owner will be in soon and we want to wish them all the best of luck and as you to support them.
