We offer a 'wild camping' site for tents only, in a small area of woodland or the adjoined Meadow - a peaceful alternative to more commercial sites.

Our site is for individuals and small groups who enjoy the countryside and who want to immerse themselves in the peaceful atmosphere this space provides. We have no electricity on site but we do provide the following facilities on site: flush toilets, under cover washing-up space and additional outside tap. There is a small campsite shop and shower facilities at the Farm. We ask that you purchase

wood for your campfire from us to avoid bringing nails etc onto site. (£10 a large sack with kindling and paper). Vehicles are left at the farmyard and campers walk to the site; wheelbarrows are available if required. Unfortunately we must ask you not to bring dogs: the site is on a mixed working farm with livestock. Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by responsible adults and respect is shown for the surroundings and any other campers. We have strict noise rules on site, no large groups on stag/hen parties - anyone disturbing other campers will be asked to leave. Information about local walks and places of interest are on display. There are beautiful views across the farm and the surrounding rolling countryside of the Stour Valley. The wood is full of wildlife -perhaps you will spend your evening watching the barn own hunt or maybe just enjoying the sunset. Charges per night: £22 per pitch (up to 4 persons)- larger tents by arrangement only. If you wish to reserve the whole wood for your personal or group use then please contact us.

Don’t have you own camping equipment?
No problem!
We have our pre-erected 5m Bell tents on site.

These can accommodate up to 6people with ease.
Include a double memory foam mattress.
Additional camping roll matts if needed.
Solar reflective covers to keep the tents cooler.
Rag rug carpets throughout.
Two giant bean bags.
Small games table
Camping lantern
Own picnic bench
Raised Charcoal BBQ
Raised firepit (Currently have a campfire ban due to very dry conditions)

Come and explore the Suffolk countryside, with woodland walks within 5-10min walk from the site.
A reservoir for wild swimming a 10min walk away.
Great pubs in our local villages.
The river Stour just 2miles from us, paddle board and kayak hire available locally.

Beautiful woodland walks in the area at Tiger Hill wood and Arger Fen nature reserve.

The river Stour just 2 miles away for wild swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding.

White Dragon Activity Center in Bures for your archery, axe throwing and bushcraft experiences.

Great local pubs at the Shoulder of Mutton in Assington or Eight Bells in Bures.

Or just relax on site and cook up a storm with our locally produced BBQ packs

Our bell tents are up for the summer!
Looking rather space age, with our new thermal covers!
These should keep the tents cooler in the heat of the sun and have a blackout lining if you fancy a lay-in!

Contact us for booking, we still have availability for the summer.
Ideal if you don’t have your own camping equipment or would like to trying camping with the added comfort of a memory foam mattress!

Now we just need some rain for the wildflower meadow to regrow!

We have chicks! 8 hatched last week and we have another hen sitting. Hopefully a few new hens to replenish our numbers and produce some more eggs for the shop.
All Lavender and Speckled Pekin bantams.

We have a woodland pitch available for this weekend due to a cancellation.
Oak pitch is one of our larger pitches in the center of our woodland.

If you fancy a weekend of relaxation, countryside and nature then why not book in!

Each pitch includes a campfire pit with a folding grill, allowing you to cook over the open fire.

The cherry blossom is snowing down, the bluebells are in full bloom and the cows & calves are enjoying the fresh grass!
Certainly feeling like spring is here!
