As the world of waste and the associated regulations change, please ensure that your waste disposal requirements are carried out by a fully licensed and authorised party. The removal of “any” waste material from “any” site by a contractor or appointed person(s), MUST be carried out by a company or individual who hold all the required documentation and authorisations….

You, as the producer of the waste, have a legal duty of care to ensure your contractor is using a licensed and authorised disposal facility…. with a complete paper trail detailing the waste producer name, waste remover name and full address, waste remover waste carrier number, the removal address from where the waste was taken from, the weight of the waste, the EWC waste category and the final disposal or recycling facility name, address and waste management license number where the waste is being taken to for recycling or disposal.

Failure to do so may lead to both the waste producer, and the remover of the waste incurring very large financial penalties.

Don’t get caught out, the world of waste is changing!!!
