The Exclusively Highlands Art, Craft, Food & Drink Market returns to Inveraray Castle on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September.
Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Castle, the open-air market will bring together a carefully selected collection of independent artists, makers and food and drink producers from across Scotland.

Join us on the Castle forecourt from 10am–4pm on both days and discover locally made gifts, original artwork, traditional crafts and delicious Scottish produce.

CHRISTMAS MARKET AT CROSSBASKET CASTLE
Beautifully situated above the roaring river Calder, Crossbasket has been carefully and lovingly transformed and restored into one of Scotland most luxurious Castles. It is truly an iconic setting for a fabulous indoor Christmas market.

Outdoors trees and foliage with be brimming with Christmas Lights and decorations will abound. Once inside the Castle, a welcoming glass of mulled w**e or hot chocolate will await and it will be toasty warm with a festively lit Castle. Within the ballrooms we will be

hosting a beautifully enticing Christmas Market with artisan crafters whose creative talents combined with a passionate drive enables them to create the most delightful and exquisite gifts and wares to meet the most exacting of Christmas demands and showcasing a wonderful collection of hand produced Scottish Art, Craft, Food and Drink.

At the market you will find unique stained glass and copper artwork, a stunning range of hand forged knives, recycled textiles, delicate jewellery designed using silver, gemstones and glass, entrancing ceramics and exquisite glasswork, luxurious felting and entrancing photography and memorabilia to delight all. Looking for unusual and lovingly made stocking fillers – we have sublime candles, reed diffusers and wax melts, organic and vegan soaps together with fabulous skincare ranges. Whatever catches your eye, choose wisely and spend it on something you love!

Throughout we will be presenting a wonderful and carefully chosen array of Food and Drink – Small batch craft distillers producing rum, tequila and liquors to delight all, eclectic, unusual and totally delicious chutneys, brownie bakers and cookie makers from the Very Good Baking Company, delightfully sumptuous chocolates from the Third Sin and Iguana Chocolates and not forgetting the ever popular Val’s Scottish tablet with an incredible range of hand produced Scottish tablet.

ENTRY FEE: This is a ticketed event. Tickets will go on sale late Summer. £5.00 (Under 16s free) and includes either a mulled w**e or hot chocolate.

September 12th & 13th is our Art, Craft, Food & Drink Market at Inveraray Castle!

Our Autumn event in Argyll could not be in a more beautiful location. Sitting by the shores of Loch Fyne, Inveraray Castle is the most perfect backdrop for our Art, Craft, Food and Drink market.

A collection of Scotland’s finest small businesses will be showcasing their wares in an outdoor market at the front of the castle. Make your visit a whole day out for the family, with over 16 acres of gardens to enjoy as well as the Castle, which featured in both Downton Abbey, A Very British Scandal and the Diplomat.

Our exhibitors will be hosting beautiful homeware ranges including textiles, crafted stationary, art illustrations, fused glass art, decadent cushions, throws and giftware. Jewellery created from silver and resin, barrel inspired goods, photography, felted wares and wood turning. Organic and vegan soap and skincare – all lovingly handmade in Scotland for this event.

Coming along for the food? You will be well catered for by our food and drink producers. Whether you are looking for a wonderful selection of cheeses or a large selection of fudge, tablet and confectionery. Enjoy browsing a superb range of preserves and chutneys.

Our alcohol producers include a range of rums and cocktails.

Refreshments on the day are courtesy of Henderson’s Fine food will be supplying a mouth watering hog roast serving pulled pork and brioche with a range of superb toppings, Dumpling Mama with a range of freshly cooked dumplings and Highland Food Shack – cray fish rolls, slow cooked beef brisket home made fries and more….
