Bella - she makes me smile every day!! She is the first cow I have ever had such a lovely friendly relationship with!! She is a big rascal full of mischief. All the children at Farm School have loved meeting Bella, she is SO FRIENDLY!! 🐮🐄🐮🐄

Today we have been checking our lovely cows through the handling system. We have given each one a mini MOT & treated them for flies/ticks/lice. We feed them in the race & keep everything as calm as possible. Handling cattle can be incredibly dangerous. This way keeps us safe!

Farmers have many roles to play, including cattle health!

We would like to say a HUGE Thank you to the Kilmington Cake Shed for baking our cakes while Becky was off! This delicious little shed comes highly recommended, Leah sells her cakes in an honesty shop outside her house in Kilmington. We are so grateful she could help us & delighted Becky’s Bakery will be back this Friday!!

Who was up doing a midnight bake because they underestimated quite how much people would be in need of brownies this weekend?? Meeeee.

The shed is stocked, the cakes are fresh and the day is actually not too bad for a summer in England. Hope to see you there 🥰🍰🧁

All this rain has given us some tricky ground conditions!! After moving some cattle we unfortunately got STUCK!!! I had to tow Mark out of the field 🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜

This is my pasturising room at the farm 🐮
