We recently attended site at Alamiyah School to carry out a comprehensive range of Legionella control and water hygiene services. Ensuring safe, compliant water systems is essential in educational environments, where staff and young people rely on consistent water quality and temperature control every day.

Our visit included a detailed review and inspection of:

🔧 Hot & Cold Water Systems – assessment of pipework, outlets, calorifiers, tanks, and combi systems

🔧 TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves) – ensuring correct operation and safe mixed-water delivery

🔧 Rising Mains & Expansion Vessels – checking condition, installation quality, and ongoing performance

🔧 Showers & High-Risk Outlets – flushing, inspection, and Legionella prevention checks

🔧 Overall System Condition – identifying corrosion, poor fittings, or elements requiring improvement

We recently attended a site in Kings Langley to safely drain down, remove, and later reinstate a calorifier to allow essential remedial works to take place.

Due to rotting structural boarding beneath the unit, the calorifier required full removal so the base could be replaced and made safe.

Once the new platform was installed, our engineers returned to:
✅ Refit and position the calorifier securely
✅ Reconnect and commission the unit
✅ Modify associated pipework to accommodate the new installation height and layout
✅ Ensure the system was fully operational and leak-free

This approach ensures both the integrity of the plant room structure and the reliable performance of the hot water system going forward.

The GES Water team recently attended site in London to carry out the cleaning and disinfection of a 5000L Cold Water Storage Tank using Hydrogen Peroxide.
