Exciting news: Laneys is back! 😋

Under new ownership we will be re-opening this autumn!

We are currently refreshing the Laneys van, and are gearing up to serve you the best in authentic London Pie and Mash - all over Kent!

About us: We are Shona and Darren, both originally from South East London, and both have a passion for proper Pie and Mash!

We are now working out the perfect areas to pitch our van.. so let us know.. where do you want your Pie and Mash?

Our brand new menus for our eat-in and takeaway services at The Kings Head, Rochester 👀

At the moment, due to the pub being closed during the week, we can only offer our takeaway services Thursdays, with the eat-in option currently available Friday-Sunday.

Open from 1pm tomorrow and Saturday/Sunday until 7pm each day.

Yesterday we announced our return and we’re still reeling from the excitement! Thanks to everyone who has sent us positive messages, we can’t wait to be back in full swing again.

Many of you have asked us about our mobile trailer which will also be ready to go again very soon!

As planned we will still be at The Old Rectory in Leybourne on Fridays.

So where do you want to see us next?

📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

We know that we’ve been quiet lately but we hope you can forgive us and get as excited as we are!

This time last year we were preparing for our grand opening of Laney’s Pie & Mash. A year on and we’re preparing again to bring you the best pie and mash around. As a lot of you know, we were unfortunately affected when a second lockdown hit and our time was cut short but we’re coming back bigger and better.

We’ve really been struggling to keep this a secret – from 2nd September you’ll be able to find us at Kings Head Bar and Hotel - Rochester!! As we’ll be operating out of their kitchen we’ll once again be able to offer both eat-in and takeaway services.

Thank you to everyone for your patience, it’s not been an easy journey for us but we can’t wait to open our doors and welcome you back at a new location. Look out for another exciting announcement tomorrow about our trailer! 👀

Any gift vouchers issued prior to our re-opening will be valid until April 2022. In the coming days we’ll share with you our opening times along with our new menus and, more importantly, how to make a booking!

New location, who this?!📍

With great thanks to Glenn and Stacey, we are over the moon to announce that we have been allowed to have a pitch for our lovely little trailer at The Old Rectory in Leybourne 💚

**Dates and times TBC in the coming days** 📅⏰

This will be a perfect base for us to cook and serve our famous freshly made pies to Leybourne itself and surrounding areas such as West Malling and Kings Hill.

As a little thank you for your patience, we would like to run a little competition. In order to WIN a free family takeaway meal, (4 x double doubles with liquor/gravy), please do the following to enter.

🚨 PIE AND MASH RETURNS! 🚨

Hi everyone! 👋🏼

Apologies for the lack of updates as we have been patiently waiting for clearance to trade in our lovely little truck, but we are now happy to say that we are now good to go! 😃

As it’s now very close to Christmas, we will be looking to get back and serving you in the New Year at two of our new locations (Leybourne & Aylesford), with the exact days and times announced soon! ⏰

Alongside these, we will also be looking to secure another two locations which will serve the Maidstone and Medway areas.

I hope you are all okay and coping well in these strange times, it’s been a tough year to the end for all of us it seems, but hopefully better things are to come soon 🙏🏼

For those that have sent messages to us whilst we have been closed, we are going through them and will look to get back to you ASAP.

We will be running a competition in the next couple of days to spread a little Christmas cheer and celebrate our relaunch, make sure you don’t miss out!
