🤠 WE JUST HIT 10,000 CUSTOMERS! 🇺🇸🔥
Yesterday we welcomed our 10,000th customer through the doors of Homestead Smokehouse — and somehow, perfectly for us, she just happened to be visiting from America! 🇺🇸
We couldn't let customer number 10,000 leave without making it a little special, so her meal was on us and we sent her away with one of our Homestead souvenir T-shirts. 👕🔥
When we opened Homestead, 10,000 customers felt like a hell of a long way away. Now here we are.
A massive THANK YOU to every single person who's walked through those doors, eaten our BBQ, smashed a burger, brought their family, travelled to visit us, recommended us or come back again.
10,000 down… we're only getting started. 🤠🔥
And to our American visitors — apparently we're doing something right if you keep crossing the Atlantic to check up on our BBQ. 😂🇺🇸

We get a surprising number of visitors from across the USA coming through the doors at Homestead Smokehouse, so we thought it was about time we started keeping track!
Last week we put up our big USA map and started asking our American guests to stick a pin in their hometown.
📍 7 pins in the first week — not a bad start!
Now we want to see how much of that map we can cover. If you’re visiting us from the States, make sure you stick your pin in the map before you leave.

THE TEAM BEHIND THE WIN 🏆
Monday night was a pretty special one for this lot at The Food Awards Scotland
For all of our team, this was their first ever awards ceremony. We went along as finalists, hoping for the best, and ended up standing on that stage together as Burger Bar of the Year 2026.
We're incredibly proud of what we've built at Homestead, but even prouder of the young team helping us build it every week.
They work hard. They learn. They put up with us constantly trying to get 1% better. And judging by how little chance I got to hold the bloody award afterwards, they've definitely decided they won it. 😂
And you know what?
They're right.
This belongs to the whole team.

Homestead Smokehouse is officially Burger Bar of the Year 2026 at The Food Awards Scotland.
Less than a year after opening our doors, this little smokehouse in Ayr went up against some of the best in Scotland — and brought it home.
This belongs to our incredible team and every single customer who's eaten with us, supported us, voted for us, shared our posts and told their mates about us.
We said we were building something different.
Turns out Scotland noticed.
