We are down to our last 50 trees for this season and they are selling fast!

So if you are still looking for a tree then please come down to Ayr Livestock market, between 9am and 5pm today. As we cannot guarantee we will have any left at the end of the weekend.

Good morning everyone!

🌲🌲🌲🌲Quick announcement🌲🌲🌲🌲

Due to the adverse weather conditions predicted, we will be closing at 5pm tonight and tomorrow to allow our staff to travel home safely.

As we said yesterday we are quickly starting to run low on trees, so if you haven’t got yours yet then please come and get it while stocks last!

The boys have been flat out bringing Trees in from the fields to get them palletised and ready to be loaded onto Lorries on Monday!

Once our Trees are in piles they need to be netted; making them easier to transport from our fields to your home!

The team here at Garrocher Tree Farm have been flat out netting this weekend, getting our wholesale orders ready before looking towards retail.

So how does a real Christmas tree get harvested 🤔

Well at Garrocher we start off by using a mixture of chainsaw’s and cutting machine’s to harvest our tree’s.

Once that’s done the Trees are placed in piles in the field for the next stage in the process.

But you’ll have to stay tuned to find out what that is! 🌲 🌲 🌲
