A small family business based in Bacup in the Rossendale Valley. We produce a wide range of chutney, marmalade and relish for all types of customers.

We are a small, family-run business who specialise in making preserves such as chutneys, relishes, marmalades and vinegars. They contain no artificial colours preservatives or additives of any kind. They are all delicious!

Lots of stalls here for you to see and buy from.

Storm Amy wins!!

portsunlightvillagetrust made the difficult decision to postpone the Sugar and Spice Festival due to high winds.

Living in the north of England we have to deal with the vagaries of the weather.
Thank you to all our customers who support us when the weather is not so pleasant.
Don’t forget to come and see us on 1 November.

A huge thank you to the Southport Food & Drink Festival this weekend.
Wow!
Thank you to all the people who came along and tasted our chutneys, marmalades and jams and bought lots.
We sold out of several products over the three days!
Thank you to the events team who planned, organised and kept the festival on track.
Thank you to the service staff who kept everywhere tidy, kept the toilets clean (so important to us traders) and helped when asked.
Thank you to our compete, Simon, who yet again, entertained us, informed us and did such a great job letting the visitors know about all the amazing traders and what they had to offer.
Back to the kitchen to start building the stocks again.
