Easy to find them with their Monil collars on.
Just not that easy to get 25kg of cake to them, as they were no where near a track!

The Inveruglas herd are gradually grazing their way round the Ardvorlich park.

Hoping to test the collars to the max before the bulls go out to spilt the herd into two groups on the open hill.

Will it work? Watch this space 👀

Feels like a relief to get to May, and to start getting on with some other jobs. Getting through dosing the first of the lambs, and starting to see them shift on a bit despite the struggle for grass.
Eira proving very happy and handy. Was a bit of a lottery buying a bitch online from Wales but shes slotted in like shes always been part of the chaos 🤪

✨Our next POP UP SHOP ✨

This Bank Holiday weekend we're teaming up with for our next pop up shop selling our fresh lamb, hogget and mutton.

🕦10am - 4pm
📍 Edenmill Farm Cafe, Stockiemuir Road, Blanefield, G63 9AX

We will have a range of individual cuts on offer as well as our usual half and whole boxes.
If you'd like specific cuts or boxes kept aside or have any questions please message us.
All of our meat is produced on our farm near Drymen and butchered locally in Aberfoyle by Graham at Denholm’s Elite Meat

Where are you Spring 2026?

Less than ideal conditions for the Inveruglas hoggs to be heading back to the hill.

374 Ben Vane & & Ben Vorlich hoggs will head back to where they were born on the hill & become our future breeding ewes.

Meanwhile back at Lands of Drumhead we've hunkered down for Storm Dave. Luckily nothing lambing outside and since things have quitened down in the shed we've put off putting out young lambs till it's passed.

Hoping those lambs out there are tucked up somewhere cosy for the night. 🤞

Will be out at first light to check on them all.

Feel another night of very little sleep coming on. 😟

After a flying visit to Ireland for a quick shopping trip on Friday 🛍 🇮🇪 the 2 new boys have arrived home

A 3 year old gelding, Conns Casper and a 2 year old c**t, Oldstone JJ .
Think we'll have our hands full 🤠... as if there wasn't enough going on already!

A long walk to get this boy in from the far end of Ben Vane, bringing him in with a group of ewes along the lochside.

Picked him up just below an area known as the 'Fiddlers'
