Have you noticed our coffee is being served in navy cups lately? ☕️💙
There’s a good reason for it.
These are leftover cups from when The Lamb Van had the privilege of serving at The 153rd Open in Portrush during summer 2025. Rather than letting perfectly good catering disposables go to waste, we’re putting them to good use.
We believe that being responsible means using what we already have before ordering more. It might seem like a small thing, but reducing unnecessary waste is something we’re committed to wherever we can.
So if your coffee arrives in a navy Open cup, you’re getting a little reminder of an incredible event — and helping us make a more sustainable choice at the same time.

This sweet nanny took two tiny lambs under her wing and decided they were hers. She watches over them, cuddles them, and follows them everywhere like the proudest mum in the world.

A few weeks ago our Herdwick ewes got their shearing done and are now looking their best ahead of Ballymoney Show! ✂️🐑
This will be our first time showing, so we're excited to give it a go. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

My last
Herdwick lambed!
Last night marked the end of my birthday Herdwicks lambing, as the last of my six Herdwick ewes finally brought her babies into the world
She didn’t keep us waiting too long, and just before midnight she delivered two beautiful little girls. Strong, healthy, and already finding their feet.
There’s something special about this final ewe lambing — a mix of relief and pride. A

By morning, one proud mum had already lambed twins 💛 And before the day was out… two more little ones joined the flock! Spring is well and truly here 🌱
