Gwilym Cottage Simmentals Dedicated to breeding pedigree stock that will produce profitable cattle for commercial beef farmers.

The Gwilym Cottage Herd was established by Myself and my dad on the shores of Lough Neagh (Northern Ireland) in 2008 after a change in Farming practice. I have always had an interest in Simmental cattle as the late Bertie Watterson of the now dispersed Oakland Herd was my granddads brother. Our two foundation females were bought from the noted Omorga Herd. Since then we have used only the best AI sires and the herd now comprises of 12 females.

and sales with the freedom to return within 15 days - abolishing previous
requirements that made moving livestock temporarily more difficult. So far, 15 key
markets such as Ruthin, Lanark, Dumfries and Carlisle have been registered to avail
of this easement, with Stirling market in the process of undergoing final authorisation
in this regard"
