🌻 WE’RE GUTTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE’VE MADE THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO CLOSE OUR SUNFLOWER FIELD. 🌻💛

We had really hoped to stay open until the Bank Holiday weekend, but unfortunately, after the severe lack of rain over the past few months, and no grass, we now need to make the most of any rain we do get and focus on the farm.

As someone wisely pointed out to me… sometimes it’s better to end on a high. 💛

And what a high it has been! 🌻

We are unbelievably grateful to every single person who visited, supported us, shared our posts, picked our flowers and made memories in the field. This was our very first year opening the sunflower field, and whilst it has certainly been a huge learning curve, we have loved seeing so many people enjoy something that we created as a family.

It definitely won’t be our last… 🌻

The sunflowers have already made it into next year's cropping plan! 💛🌻

Thank you for supporting our little family farm and taking a chance on our first ever sunflower season. We’ve learnt so much, and we can’t wait to make it even bigger and better next year!

For now… it’s time to say goodbye to the sunflowers and start getting ready for PUMPKIN SEASON! 🎃

BRITISH BEEF WEEK 🇬🇧🥩

Set up by alongside AHDB, this week is all about shining a light on the people behind British beef—from the farmers rearing it, to the butchers, farm shops and retailers bringing it to you.

For us, it’s about quality, knowing where your food comes from, and taking pride in doing things properly.

We’ve joined in because the more people who understand British beef, the better. Supporting local farmers like us really does make a difference—it helps keep farms going, keeps standards high, and keeps proper British beef on your plate.

For us, it’s never been about pushing numbers or cutting corners. It’s about working with nature, not against it.

Our cows aren’t pushed hard or fed to grow quickly on systems that don’t suit them. They live outside as much as possible, calve in line with the seasons, and spend their days moving across fresh pasture in groups—just as they should.
