Watching someone who’s inspired you for years not only follow your work, but genuinely interacts with what you create, is a pretty amazing feeling.

I’ve been a big fan of Max McMurdo aka ever since first seeing him back in 2012 on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, so it felt properly cool (and admittedly a wee bit geeky) to create something special from one upcycler to another.

With his love for the outdoors leading the design, this vintage teaspoon turned keyring was made to complement his wee business and sit proudly alongside his camper van keys. Featuring his company logo, multifunctional organiser slots inspired by modular design, and a hammered texture finish representing his passion for life on the water—whether that’s paddleboarding or simply the fact he practically bloody lives on it—it became a thoughtful little tribute to both his creativity and adventurous spirit.
