A little bit of time out and I’m more than ready to get back in the kitchen for you all 🤍

Our weekly menu has had a little glow up and she looks fab… new menu, same us 😆

This week is filled with favourites, some old and some new, with plenty of savoury too 🤍

Fresh on the menu this week is our Very Spicy Chilli & Vintage Cheddar Tart 🌶️
Made with our spicy chilli chutney, this one’s not for the faint-hearted 🌶️🌶️🤣

We’ve added a few more of your favourites on there as our menu has grown.

So whether you’re having a party, a family occasion or you just want to treat yourself, I’m here for it 😆🤍

Sooo… I’ve been working a little on my savoury side, and these beauties are delicious 😍

What do we think? Mich’s Kitchen vintage cheddar and chutney pastry tarts 🤤

I’ve made these with our spicy Ruby chutney, but they’ll also be stunning with our slightly milder and sweeter girl Rosie 🌶️🤍

I can’t wait to get back in the kitchen for you all next week! I’ve missed it 🤍

Aunty Mich’s little kitchen helper 🥹🤍

How cute is she! 😍 She absolutely loves it when I’m testing recipes while she’s visiting, so she can help out every step of the way 🤍

We love making memories and having fun in the kitchen 🤍

Aunty Mich’s house is much loved by all my extended nieces and nephews, and that’s just the way we like it 😍

Just a little note to say there’ll be no menu again this week. I’m taking another week off as I’ve got a few things to deal with, but I’ll be back in the kitchen very soon!

And with Bonfire Night coming up, I’ve been working on a few treats for you… keep those eyes peeled 👀🤍

I’ve managed to squeeze in a few tester bakes in between the wedding and my hangover 😆🙈

My kids love a cornflake bun, so we’ve mixed it up a bit for fun and added a hefty chunk of homemade caramel, then topped that with chocolate… tadaaa 😍

The most beautiful Cornflake Millionaire 🤤

This one may make an appearance on the menu soon… I can’t help myself 😆🤍

Look at this 🤤 you absolutely cannot beat a bit of homemade bread!

Not loaded with 20 ingredients, just good old-fashioned bread with a sweet little twist 🤍 She’s made with no sugar, just honey locally sourced… how good is that 😍

The smell that fills the house when I bake these is unbelievable.

I’m off this week but that doesn’t seem to keep me out of the kitchen for long 😆

Taking some time to play around with a few new ideas ready for the autumn months 🤍

I want Mich’s Kitchen to be about more than just cakes and treats. We love all food here and as long as it’s good old-fashioned proper grub, how it should be… we’re here for it 😍

Poppy has chosen her winners 🤍🥰

After reading through all of your lovely nominations, Poppy had a very tough decision to make… and the little girl with the biggest heart couldn’t choose just one 🙈😆

So our winners are Etta & Ronnie 🤍

To hear how well they are doing after such a tragic time in there young lives truly is wonderful, we know how hard things must be for them 🤍and we know there daddies would be super proud of them.

Poppy chose them both and even made her own little winner announcement especially for them 🥹

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to nominate someone. There were so many lovely stories and some really special people mentioned, it really wasn’t an easy choice for her🤍
If she could have picked everyone she would have you all deserve to be treated 🤍

Stealing a slice of our classic chilli & garlic butter 🤍

Homemade butter mixed with chilli, garlic and herbs, perfect melted over warm homemade bread 🤤

This one’s already a favourite with so many of you… and apparently in our house too 😆🤍

She’s making an appearance on this week’s menu so don’t miss out 🤍

It became a fast favourite in our house, with Bodhi stealing all the samples I made 😆

Just a little note too, I’m away next week so we won’t be running a menu… so get your treats in while ya can 🤍
