raditional farming and butchery methods handed down through the generations provide some of the finest quality meat you'll taste anywhere. You'll discover quality fresh fruit and vegetables sourced locally wherever possible and marketed with an emphasis on seasonality. Home baked bread, pies, ready meals and desserts feature on shelves that groan with culinary inspiration. We sell hundreds of craft ales and spirits including our own gins and beer. There’s a huge variety of fine food on display including jams, marmalades, chutneys, sauces, biscuits and cakes.

Back in 1981 the farm faced severe commercial difficulties and decided to open a tearoom in what is now Farmer Dave’s house. Cynthia Nicholson and her friend Rosemary experimented with so many different recipes and they became an instant hit!
