Running a pub, restaurant, or hotel has never been tougher. While most of our European neighbors support their hospitality sectors with fairer tax rates (like France and Spain at 10%, or Germany at 7%), the UK is still charging a staggering 20%.

This is simply unsustainable and is a massive driver in local businesses closing their doors.

A reduction in VAT to 10% would be the single most impactful step the government could take to keep businesses open, protect jobs, and support our local high streets.
