Have you noticed how plants just move around the place ,like this mauve Spanish bluebell and purple and white honesty—almost saying just don’t we look good together ,a summery dream of colours ? Then that cheeky purple honesty with golden privet .I didn’t plant them together
But look at those Spanish blue bells and the 3 cornered leek ——- I will admit to absently throwing a 3 cornered leek over the wall years ago and mebe the odd S . Bluebell never thinking they’d take the space over .
Years ago when I first start gardening here ,I threw some weeds over onto the garden next to mine and my wedding ring came of with them unable to find it ,forgot about it until sometime time later I took over the garden and was amazed to find the gold ring shining amongst ground elder and bindweed ——- don’t think I’ve worn it since !
BUT gardeners beware where you throw your weeds!
