I started to put plants out on Friday morning and for the first time got absolutely soaked to the skin ! Ooh ! Rain ! Anyway at last got it together to sell some interesting plants here …so yes PLANT SALE HERE TODAY ,SUNDAY AND BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY AUGUST 31st EX 32. 7LW

PLANT SALE TODAY, SUNDAY AND MONDAY,15th,16,and 17 Th OF AUGUST
EX32 7LW. NR STOKE RIVERS ——
Salvias Amistad ,red salvia fulgens ,Tall plum coloured mulberry .1 last dahlia ,bishops children ,2 different Rudbeckia .Lobelia pink dream ,Tall sanguisorba candensis ,fuchsia lotty hobby marvellous for pollinators and then to cooler foliage for a bit of shade like rodgersia ,ligularia ,variegated foliage of a meadowsweet ,lovely brunneras which give such good value in shade with there early sprays of blue forgetme not type flowers and then striking foliage .Different ferns ,Blechnum chilense and a beautiful pinky grey and still few pelargoniums soft and scented .Sure to have missed some out .Most are £5 but there are some for £2 ! Hope we see you in this lovely bit of cool !

PLANT SALE TODAY ,SUNDAY AND. MONDAY 10—4pm
PLANTS FOR SALE : Pink loosestrife ,so good for pollinators . Different phlox ,Dahlia Bishops Children ,black glossy leaves with rich range of orange,reds.Kidney shaped leaves of ligularia for a bit of shade like the hostas .Rudbeckia and I do like it grown with the lobelia pink dream ! Fuchsia,Lotty hobby ,pollinators really go for this late flowering hardy fuchsia.Salvia Fulgens ,with poster red furry flowers ! Six hills giant cat mint ,gives good value in any garden .All these plants £5 .00 The most expensive plant is euphorbia mellifluous,honey spurge ,£8 and the cheapest are some lovely thyme plants £1 please p.m me for any questions. Range of colours of beautiful phlox ,red bergamot ,ligularia desdamona ,Echinops ritro globe thistle ,yellow helenium ,veronicastrum ,fruity smelling salvias ,rudbeckia goldstrum,agapanthus .All £5 each Then there is lavender , begonias and much more for £4 each .

Yes ,PLANT SALE TODAY AND TOMORROW 9.30—4pm .. got some plants round the front verbascums ,lavender £4.50 1.5 litre pot .yellow heleniums ,achillea moonshine .lipia citronella,dark maroon knautia macadonica ,a stunning orange/ gold potentilla ,catmint 6hills giant ,beautiful apple blossom pelargoniums plus fragrans and the wonderful feely ,soft leaved peppermint pelargonium all £5 in 1.5 litre pots .The cheapest plants are thyme plants £1 each . These plants are in the front of the house a larger selection at the rear .

Have you noticed how plants just move around the place ,like this mauve Spanish bluebell and purple and white honesty—almost saying just don’t we look good together ,a summery dream of colours ? Then that cheeky purple honesty with golden privet .I didn’t plant them together
But look at those Spanish blue bells and the 3 cornered leek ——- I will admit to absently throwing a 3 cornered leek over the wall years ago and mebe the odd S . Bluebell never thinking they’d take the space over .
Years ago when I first start gardening here ,I threw some weeds over onto the garden next to mine and my wedding ring came of with them unable to find it ,forgot about it until sometime time later I took over the garden and was amazed to find the gold ring shining amongst ground elder and bindweed ——- don’t think I’ve worn it since !
BUT gardeners beware where you throw your weeds!

First plant sale of the year and this year it’s different in that I’m now selling plants at the back and not in front of the house — and no ,it’s not because I’m getting lazy but I’ve replanted the roadside border and want to let it get established ..that’s the idea !
Anyway Jerusalem Artichokes are free to plant for anyone who’d like these delicious veg,then there’s bare rooted clumps of Rudbeckia Golstrum .£3 a bag ,lettuce plugs or trays and the usual interesting array of perennial plants .
We’re open from 9ish to 12pm Friday ,Saturday and Sunday.Hope to see you soon !
