The uniforms are on, the packed lunches are back, the house is slightly quieter… and parents everywhere are pretending they’re not celebrating.

So we thought we’d join in.

Fancy joining the SM team? 🍕🍝

We’re looking for someone to join us on a part-time basis, mainly helping front of house.

The role would include things like answering the phone, taking orders, helping pack orders, keeping things organised and generally helping the team during service.

The shift would initially be one evening a week, 5pm–9pm, with more shifts likely to become available as we go.

It would probably suit someone looking for their first part-time job, or someone after the odd shift here and there around school, college or other commitments.

We’re only a small team, so we’re looking for someone polite, reliable, organised and happy to get stuck in when it’s busy.

No experience needed — just the right attitude.

Also, as part of the SM way, everyone working an evening shift gets a pizza or pasta for their tea… so if you already like the food, that might be a nice little bonus. 😅🍕

WE’RE BACK TOMORROW! 🍕🍝

Just a little reminder that after our short break, Santa Marina reopens for service tomorrow evening — Monday 24th August! 🙌

We also wanted to say a massive thank you for the response to our Gluten Free pizza and pasta. ❤️

We knew there was demand for more GF options, but we’ve been genuinely surprised by just how popular they’ve become. In fact, our GF Penne al Forno is currently catching up with the original Al Forno as one of our most ordered dishes! 👀🍝

It’s brilliant to see, so thank you to everyone who’s tried the GF range, recommended us or helped spread the word.

And while we’re talking Gluten Free… what would you like us to do next? 👀

🍕 A LITTLE SUMMER BREAK ☀️

Just a heads up that after service this Saturday 15th August, we’ll be closing the doors for a little summer break!

We’ll be back, rested and ready to go again Monday 24th August 🍕🍝

So if you need your Santa Marina fix before we disappear for a week, you’ve got until Saturday! 👀

We’re expecting it to be a busy one, so as always, getting your orders in nice and early is definitely recommended.

⚽ IT’S COMING HOME… BUT WE’RE CLOSING EARLY! 🏠🍕

For the Argentina game, we’ll be opening earlier and serving from around 4pm until 7pm-ish, so there’s still plenty of time to get your Santa Marina fix before kick-off.

We’ve only got one delivery driver, so depending on how busy we are, we’ll likely stop taking delivery orders at around 6–6:30pm.

Lots of people are already pre-ordering for collection, and that is definitely the best way to avoid disappointment. Message the page with your order and preferred collection time, and we’ll get you booked in.

We’d like to wish everyone in town, along with all the visitors who have travelled to Barrow for the celebrations, a fantastic Dave Day. We hope you all have an amazing day, enjoy the atmosphere, stay safe, and make some great memories.

As part of today’s event, we’re proud to be teaming up with Cloud 9 and will be serving our special Dave Day menu from 3pm at their venue for everyone wanting to enjoy the bikes and the action.

Please note: Santa Marina is still open as normal today, however we will be operating on a collection only basis from the shop.

Whether you’re grabbing a takeaway from us or joining us at Cloud 9 later, we look forward to seeing you all.
