The Amelia Trust Farm is a small charity that supports disadvantaged and vulnerable young people through alternative education and community engagement. The young people we support come from a variety of complex backgrounds and often display challenging behaviour. The Farm and Woodlands are set in 160 acres of countryside in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan We are open to public daily and visitors

can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Farm and Woodlands. Our café is currently closed, but on weekends and school holidays (weather permitting), Bro Coffi are onsite serving hot drinks and snacks. We have various facilities available to hire including a bunkhouse that sleeps 19, a sports hall and BBQ areas. We are also able to cater for Children’s birthday parties and offer various pre-bookable activities. Dogs on a lead are welcome. Book your tickets on our website:

A few weeks ago we told you about Frank, who was sadly dumped before a wonderful visitor rescued him and brought him to us.

Well, just look at him now! ❤️

Frank has settled in brilliantly and spends his days happily strutting around with his new feathered friends. We think it’s safe to say he’s made himself right at home!
Another big thank you to the lovely visitor who made sure Frank found his way to us. 🥰

Take a wander into the woodland, enjoy a little forest bathing and breathe in the fresh air.

🦋 See what wildlife you can spot along the way.
🌳 Look up into the trees and take in the woodland around you.
👀 Stop at Woodland Watch and peek through the bird hide.
🦆 And don’t forget to look across the lake through the hide window… who can you see?

Calling all young animal lovers! 🐾💚

Our next Be a Farmer experience is coming up Saturday 26th September,
10am–12pm - and there are limited spaces available!

This is their chance to step into the wellies of our Animal Care Team and discover what it’s really like to help care for the animals at Amelia Trust Farm. 🌿

🐐 Get hands-on with daily animal care
🐴 Meet some of our animals up close
🚜 Help with real jobs around the Farm
💚 Learn from our fantastic Animal Care Team
🐾 And have plenty of fun along the way!

It’s a brilliant experience for children who love animals, love being outdoors and would jump at the chance to be a farmer for the morning!

Our Sports Hall at Amelia Trust Farm is a fantastic, versatile space available to hire - ideal for:

With a 25m x 16m hall, a range of sports court markings and a lovely viewing platform for spectators, there’s plenty of room to train, rehearse, perform or get active.
