Managed to Forage some mushrooms from the farm, cook them, eat them and be ok 👍🏽
Holly made a video saying it was definitely not her that cooked them, just incase I later died..... UK version of the Mushroom Murders 😆🍄
Love how these particular Horse mushrooms grow in 'Fairy Rings' 🧚‍♀️
Managed to pick some plums too which were delicious 😋

Good Morning and Happy Saturday 😊

A reminder that BOTH the Farm Shop & Café will be closed on Tuesday 8th September as we are replacing our refrigerated multi deck 💅

This Sunday we have the fabulous Good Market back at the Farm 10am-3pm 🎪
We have returning with their food truck and live music with Eliza from 12pm
Free Entry & Dog Friendly 🐕
Plenty of parking on site, please don't park on the road as this blocks the traffic flow 🚫

Farm Shop, Butchers, Café & Ice Cream open all weekend as normal ☕️🥓🥑🍳🍞🧋🍦

Cavolo Nero
Primo, Drumhead & Savoy Cabbage 🥬

Hopefully going to be lifting the potatoes next week 🥔

Hey 👋🏽

Long time no speak, hope you're all doing ok?

It's been a great summer but this rain has been most welcome. In fact, it's brought the vegetables on nicely, so we currently have our own, home grown:-
*Kale
*Cavolo Nero
*Primo, Savoy & Drumhead Cabbage
Plus we should have some Red Cauliflowers by the weekend too 😊

We still have the Wirral Watercress, Roquet & T-Stem Broccoli from Mr Jones plus lots of other seasonal fruit & veg from across the region

This weekend we have the last of our outdoor summer events until we open the doors for Pumpkin Picking next month 🎃

Sunday we have the Good Market plus food from Pen Y Lan Pork & Chows Street Food plus our bars will be open 10am-3pm
Live Music 12-3 with Harry James

The Good Market is a Free Event & Dog Friendly

Then on Tuesday 8th September both the Shop & Café will both be closed as we are changing our refrigerated multi deck in the shop
There will be much noise and disruption so we thought it best to close for the day

Please follow ‘Event Parking’ signs when visiting the show
Approach the event via Clatterbridge Roundabout off the M53, Junc 4
Head towards Clatterbridge Hospital/Willaston on the B5151[ signposted Willaston ]
[ CH63 4JZ ]
Keep in the left-hand lane when approaching Starbu*ks & take the left, following the directional arrows all the way into the car park where stewards will be on hand to guide you to your space

We will have no parking cones all the way along old clatterbridge road so strictly NO Parking on the Roads, this just causes huge problems for the flow of traffic. There is plenty of FREE parking available

Anyone only visiting the Farm Shop & Café please use the car park as normal

Public Transport
Spital Station – Merseyrail trains run regularly from Liverpool and Chester, it’s a 20 minute walk to Claremont Farm
Local Bus services to Clatteridge Hospital and Brimstage Road, which is only a short walk from Claremont Farm.

Evening, hope everyone is good? Huge thank you to everyone that came down last night to our Friday Farm Social. Was lovely to see so many familiar faces & families down at the farm for a lovely chilled night 😊
We would definitely like to do more of those, so keep an eye out for our next one!

We have over 200 classic cars coming tomorrow which is a great turn out and the weather is looking good too
Wirral Vikings will have their encampment and arena where you will be transported back to a time not so long ago. You'll see exactly how they lived, dressed, what they ate, how they fought each other.....as well as letting your kids battle it out with them in their Kiddie Vike sessions ( see previous post for schedule)

Wirral Archaeology will also have a display of their finds from across Wirral, showing the incredible history of our Peninsula

We will also have live music, food stalls and our outside bars all open!

Tonight we open up the garden & the bars for the The Friday Farm Social

The evening kicks off at 7pm with Jono Barbarossa Robertson & pauliedreamers 🌙 on the decks plus food from DOUGHPAMINE PIZZA CO and making their Claremont debut Fully Loaded Grill

Free entry before 9pm then it-s £5/gate with limited capacity......a family affair, so all welcome including well behaved dogs🫶🏼

If successful we would love to open up the garden more in the evenings but obviously it's very weather dependent and we have so many other events on, finding free ones are tricky ☀️

Anyway, Come Eat, Drink, Dance...watch the sun go down xx

This Sunday wirral vikings will be setting up their encampment & arena and giving us all a taste of what life was like when the vikings came to Wirral

12pm Weapons Demonstration & How Vikings came to the Wirral ( kids participating)

14.00 Weapons Demonstration followed by Kiddie Vike ( kids participating)

We need lots of kids joining in so please get down early and register your interest to get involved ⚔️

They will also be joined by Wirral Archaeology CIC showing us their latest finds from the Peninsula

Plus, our August Classic Car Show returns after a short hiatus
...and plenty of live music, food, drink and merriment!!

Show officially opens from 11am till 3pm

£2 min donation with Bebington Scouts on the entrances
Viking Activities are all Free
