This is what we do. Look after our countryside and produce your food. We are proud to do it but remember No water, no farms, no farmers., no food from anywhere in the world. You cannot rely on imports. Other countries will keep it for themselves first.

That was close! Mower first time roun set the field alight with a good wind behind it. Quick thinking from Mark Forster and a cultivator and cut swathes in front of the flames to reduce the height of the fuel and create slight gaps soon had it under control. Did speed heart up. Judy using a towel to beat out the back burning flames.
All that experience of straw burning in the 1980's comes into good use.

Retro bale loading with "Bella" our first tractor. She was new 38 years ago. She has been on "sick leave" for several years but thanks to Joshua O'Neill for performing major heart surgury. She starts and runs a treat now.

Ideal conditions today.
Subsequent cuts only if we get some rain but please stay dry for a couple of weeks for first cut then some showers to wash fertiliser in and some growth
