There’s Afternoon Tea… and then there’s Afternoon Tea by Chef Gemma Austin. 🍰🥃

We’re going behind the scenes with Gemma as she prepares some of the treats she creates especially for us, giving you a little taster of what to expect here at McConnell’s Distillery.

It’s an experience we’ve created together – bringing Gemma’s creativity in the kitchen together with the McConnell’s magic, from specialty teas and coffees to premium cocktails.

Right now, it’s all about the 1970s, with a nostalgic menu given Gemma’s signature touch. But you’ve only got until the end of October to try it!

So if you’ve been meaning to join us, this is your final call before the 70s say goodbye. 👋

From November, Afternoon Tea will take place one special weekend each month, with more to look forward to.

For now though, there’s still time to get a taste of the 70s. Book your table before it’s gone!

What a night! 🥃✨

We officially launched McConnell’s Presents… on Friday, and what a way to kick things off. Great people, brilliant food and drink, live music, cocktails and plenty of craic.

But that was just the beginning.

October is here, and McConnell’s Presents… is officially underway. 🎶🍽️🍸

Our programme of special events brings together four things we love:

MUSIC
Intimate gigs, standout artists and nights with a soundtrack.

CULINARY
Big flavours, brilliant talent and plenty worth raising a glass to.

MARKETS
Local makers, original finds and proper Belfast character.

CULTURE
Big laughs, bright ideas and brilliantly unexpected nights.

And we’re kicking off this Friday 2nd with the first of our McKowski Nights - a free Friday night of live music in McConnell’s Bar.
No tickets, no fuss. Just good music, good drinks and the perfect way to start the weekend.🎸🥃

There’s plenty more to come across October and beyond, with something different around every corner.

See the full programme at mcconnellsirishwhisky.com/whats-happening and follow along for what’s next.

For now, here’s a little look back at Friday’s launch… 👀📸
