We harvested today for an event that was due to take place tomorrow but has been postponed due to the unrest.

We have instead compiled the beautiful blooms into mixed bunches and will have them available for purchase from our farm tomorrow from 10am until they’re sold out.

DM if you want to reserve one. £20 per bunch.

Peony season has exploded into action! Some wonderful gift bunches have been going out and a nice mix of DIY wedding buckets going this weekend. If you want local, organically grown peonys straight or as part of a mixed gift bunch please get in touch. The peony season is short and so needs to be grasped while it lasts!

Taking a moment mid dahlia planting this morning to reflect on how much fun it was to do the flowers for my sisters and wedding last September. and got involved to help with all the arrangements and captured the day so beautifully. It’s important to stop and reflect on these pics and the fact that flowers do grow when you’re in the drizzle looking at a bare field and an overwhelming job list.

A wonderful May Day flower crown event celebrating the wonderful colours of spring. Approximately 350 crowns made by guests of all ages and worn happily whilst exploring the beautiful grounds and attractions of the museum. Thanks to all who stopped by to make one and chat with us.

Tulip season seemed so short this year with this sunny spell, but they never cease to wow us every year! 🌷

To all the special mums out there. For all the support, the love, the cuddles, the fun, the dancing, the silliness, the seriousness, the morning snuggles, the late night chats. We owe so much to these women and all who take on this role.

Took a wee bit of time last week to care for our agroforestry food forest. We have a big mix of young native fruit and nut trees so keeping the grass at bay around their bases gives them a better kick start. A bit of pruning helps their structure too. We’ll see if we get some fruit from them this year 🤞

August 2025 - I had the absolute joy to be able to use our flowers to be part of my little sisters mega wedding celebration! Hev has never been one to do things by halves and she wanted an explosion of colour through our blooms to be a big part of her and Jonnys celebrations!

I pulled in the big guns with help arranging from the extremely talented and chilled Hannah and Carly who did a fantastic job with our flowers creating the floral crown, mini bouquet and table arrangements, whilst also preparing all the flowers for arrangements for the actual wedding day too.

As Heather was marrying the wonderful Texan Jonny, they went all American in their celebrations and first stop was the rehearsal dinner the night before the big day. did a fantastic job with their beautiful setting as we dined together with speeches, live music and dancing. And this was all just a warm up to the big day... (more photos coming soon)

By the way the amazing photos were by the awesome dream team - Gillian and Tim of

Nothing like a speedy floral pillar install! Watch right through to see the actual flowers being added!

You’d be surprised how much foliage is needed to create the base layer for this kind of install but it is fun to get a nice mix of different tones and textures of greenery.

Also you may see our fancy mechanics structure at the beginning - basically a wooden post with jam jars cable tied onto it and wrapped in chicken wire. Not particularly glamorous but no single use floral foam in site. This little structure has provide the backbone to floral beauty for 6 weddings now and still going strong!
