Congratulations to our colleague Carla, from our Vending Division, who recently received her 5 year service award from Operations Director, Nikki Looby! It is always a proud moment for everyone at Mount Charles when dedicated team members such as Carla choose to stay with us for the long term! 🎉Congratulations to Bev Ferguson, our Shine award winner for this month! 🎉

While she is usually based at Lisburn Leisureplex, Bev has been covering a couple of sites this month and everywhere she has been we have received great feedback from clients. Her attitude, positivity and attention to detail is outstanding . Nothing is too much hassle for Bev. She is a credit to Mount Charles and continues to grow within the company.

Yesterday was a special day for Mount Charles, when we celebrated the launch of our partnership with NI Hospice! We are delighted and so grateful that the Hospice chose us as their catering partner for their staff canteen and for patients. Working in the healthcare sector is not just a job for us, it is a vocation that we are incredibly proud to undertake. We hope that, through providing a good meal, we can give some level of comfort during some of the most difficult of times in peoples' lives, and enable the hardworking and incredibly resilient staff to recharge and refuel in a relaxed and positive environment.

The Belfast Fleadh 2026 was a triumph for the city with food, music and dancing taking over for the week! But it was great to receive some praise for the unsung heroes this morning as the festival came to an end!

Our cleaning teams worked tirelessly on Translink trains throughout the week, maintaining our high standards with increased passenger numbers using the services, and it was great that recognition of the excellent work from our team members Marzena and Veronica, arrived in our inbox this morning! We are so proud of our teams, and it makes it even better when their hard work is recognised by the clients we serve, so great job guys, and thank you to Translink for this recognition. Roll on Fleadh 2027!!

Our fantastic team at Department of Health, Dublin have done it again! Chef Nick cooked up some delicious dishes yesterday including Korean Pork Belly Stir-Fry noodles, Falafel with hummus and Cos Lettuce Salad with Parmesan Cheese and balsamic dressing. Delicious!! 😋 🧑‍🍳
