Where does your favourite l***r come from? 🌾🇩🇪
Last week, Loughran Brewers Select brought together brewers from across Ireland and the UK for a few days in Germany, exploring where some of the ingredients in our b**rs come from.
Our head brewer Ben joined the trip, visiting the BESTMALZ malting site in Kreimbach-Kaulbach and their HQ in Heidelberg, before heading south to Tettnang to visit the BayWa facility and Ludwig Locher’s hop farm.
There was a hop sensory session with the new harvest, a visit to Bernd Höning’s distillery and, of course, a look around Heidelberg Castle.
A few days spent getting closer to the people, places and ingredients behind Shameless, our core l***r. 🍺
