When we look around at how beef is often served in takeaways across Belfast, it’s usually cooked until it completely falls apart. But when chuck is taken too far, you lose the texture that makes the meat so good in the first place.

We braise ours slowly until tender, but stop at just the right moment so it keeps that juicy, steak-like bite. Then it hits the grill with another coating of our Adobo Paste, creating a deep, smoky flavour and beautifully caramelised edges.

It’s the kind of flavour and texture you are looking for, especially wrapped in homemade tortillas. 🌮🔥

Two lads from Germany rocked up to the truck today.

They’d heard about the Adobo Paste.

They wanted two jars.

And off they went. 😂

I still find moments like this mad.

Something that started as a recipe I used in my own food is now sitting in kitchens I’ll probably never see, being cooked with by people I’ll probably never meet.

And today, two more jars are heading to Germany.

This is what happens when Adobo Paste becomes part of someone else’s kitchen 🔥

Crispy potatoes loaded with slow-cooked beef, black beans, spring onions and homemade Adobo Mayo!

The paste does the heavy lifting in the background. It builds the deep chilli flavour, richness and seasoning without needing a cupboard full of ingredients or hours spent making a sauce from scratch.

That is what we want Taquitos to be.

Not just another jar sitting on the shelf, but something people can use to turn everyday ingredients into food they are genuinely excited to eat.
