Emergency First Aid Equipment | Cooke in the Community

We are delighted to support Community First Responders on the westside of Shetland with funding to purchase life-saving medical supplies and equipment. 🚑

The funding enabled West Mainland First Responder, Samantha, to purchase two medical kit bags as well as an Automated External Defibrillator.

As a local salmon farming company with operations on the westside and in the North Isles of Shetland, we are pleased to help the fantastic service this charity provides in remote and rural communities.

Local Feed Mill Supports Invergordon Off the Wall | Cooke in the Community

We are delighted to help bring local artists and the community together for Invergordon Off the Wall for a second consecutive year.

The history of the town, where our feed mill is located, is retold through the various vibrant murals and public artwork, celebrating local stories, people and the character of Invergordon. 🎨

Northeast Nutrition Scotland supplies complete salmon feed to all of our Cooke Scotland sites and we’re proud to play a small part in supporting an initiative that showcases local talent, brings people together and adds something truly unique to the community.

Sponsored Sailing Adventure | Cooke in the Community

Young people from Unst have set off on a transformative sail training experience!

The secondary three and four pupils from the north of Shetland have already successfully made it to Bergen, Norway, as part of the One Step Beyond initiative and are about to embark on the next leg of their journey. The experience will help participants learn practical sailing skills, teamwork, and leadership while living and working together at sea.

As fellow seafarers, we are delighted to support this opportunity onboard the Shetland sail training vessel, Swan.

We wish the group safe travels and the sailing experience of a lifetime!
