We created these experience days with smaller group sizes to give everyone the opportunity to get up close with the bees, ask questions, and enjoy a more hands-on, personal learning experience.

Our small group sessions allow you to suit up and get up close to our hives, find out some facts about brekeeping and even hold some bees for yourself!

Held at the wonderful , it's a real introduction to the world of beekeeping.

BEEKEEPING EXPERIENCES 🐝

This weekend, we held the first of our 2026 beekeeping experiences at the wonderful

Our 2.5 hour, small grouped hands on session offers an insight into what happens within a hive, and details the reality of the highs and lows of beekeeping. Our guests got the chance to open their own hive, handle some frames with bees, and then sample some of our own pure natural honey.

If your interested in finding out what it's all about, we have added more availability to our June & July sessions!

THE REALITY OF BEEKEEPING....

We posted a story yesterday about some damage to some of our hives, which was caused by some pesky badgers!

To answer some common questions we've been asked:

- no, luckily this doesn't happen too often
- sadly, we lost some bees in the process and will now need to rebuild the apiary once again
- it will have some impact on our honey production
- yes, its frustrating - but what can we do! Never a dull day 😅
- and finally yes, we will be buying some new electric fencing 😅
