An event not to be missed. 💚

Wednesday, October 23 6pm - 9pm
Climate Fresk - an enjoyable and interactive workshop about climate change

It's time to act - join 1.8 million others who have done a Fresk workshop and understand better the problems we face and what to do next.

Event lasts 3 hours

Fresk is a climate game played in groups guided by an experienced facilitator. The game is
factual and scientific
accessible and engaging
enjoyable and enlightening
Climate Fresk prompts you to consider real world issues and take constructive action (together) to help tackle climate change.

The game takes three hours. Climate Fresk is neutral and objective and presents only established scientific facts. It encourages an open and positive conversation about the causes and effects of climate change and the climate solutions that exist.

Everyone will leave the session well equipped to begin implementing new climate related actions and feel inspired by the process.
All are welcome - all are needed!

As we approach our final weekend at Carpenter’s I want to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful people who have been such an important part of making The Refill Pantry what it is -a friendly, eco-conscious and knowledgeable shop that our customers have so appreciated.

Not everyone who worked here is in this video because there weren’t photos, but I am so grateful to every one of you for your commitment to the cause during your time with us ♻️

Please help us! We need to sell these items before we close on Sunday as they won’t be stocked after we go - so if you’re coming in to do your final refill of all your regular products at The Refill Pantry (or just popping in to say goodbye) this week please see if any of these take your fancy too 😊

Update on the Refill Pantry

This is a difficult post to write. Sadly, with so many factors against us, it is with a heavy heart that I am sorry to announce that The Refill Pantry is closing.

At Berkhamsted this is with immediate effect. I hoped that after 2021 things would take a turn for us but despite two years of wonderful customers and regular custom we have been unable to reach the income required to allow us to continue. So as of 1st January 2024 we are no longer open in Berkhamsted.

At Carpenter’s Nursery and Farm Shop in Sandridge the outcome is better. Although The Refill Pantry is closing, the Farm Shop is taking over the section and will continue to offer the same selection of refills as we have done to date so you can continue to refill there after our last day of trading, Sunday 4th February 2024.

It has been a long and rewarding journey of highs and lows since we opened in 2018 on London Road. Your support has been amazing and we enjoyed two great years when we first opened. However, 2020 brought huge challenges and sadly, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to overcome them.

Thank you sincerely for all your support and custom over the years. It has been a joy and pleasure to share this journey with you all.

🙏🏼 Celina
