✨ What a baa-rilliant morning! ✨🐑

Today Tinsy and I (the little lamb 🐑💕) had trip out, visiting a local school for STEMs Week! We met lots of curious children and introduced them to Tinsy our two-week-old lamb — there were so many smiles, questions, excited faces and lots of lamb cuddles! 😍

We chatted about lambing season, how sheep look after their lambs, and what happens on the farm during this busy time of year. The children were amazing and loved learning all about our fluffy little friend! 🌱🐑📚

Thank you to the school for having us — it was such a joy sharing a little bit of farm life and helping bring learning to life! 💚

Lambing duties in full swing over here 🐑🍼

Our youngest taking their job very seriously while feeding the littlest baby lamb 🥹✨
Safe to say this little lamb has officially found its favorite human… and the feeling is mutual 🐑💞

Meanwhile, our budding shepherd (aka the older one!) has been putting in the real hours 💪🌙 Late nights & early mornings.

Teamwork makes the dream work around here… even if it comes with muddy boots and sleepy eyes 😅💚 it's busy, messy, magical, and full of moments like this 🥰🌿

Pumpkin kindness that’s simply spooktacular! 🎃

A huge THANK YOU to Lauren and Thomas from Oxford Farm Pumpkin Patch for their generosity! This wonderful duo has kindly donated pumpkins to St Oswald’s Hospice, bringing seasonal smiles to children, young adults, and families supported by our Children and Young Adults Service and Bereavement Support Team. 💙

Lauren and Thomas run Oxford Farm Pumpkin Patch with so much care and community spirit. From growing and picking the pumpkins to sharing them with others, they’re all about spreading a little pumpkin magic and un-boo-lievable Halloween joy.

Lauren shared that they wanted to make sure children and families could still enjoy the fun of carving and decorating pumpkins this year – especially those who might not have had the chance to get one themselves.

Thank you, Lauren, Thomas, and everyone at Oxford Farm Pumpkin Patch, for helping us carve out some spooktacular fun this Halloween! You’re the pick of the patch! 🎃✨

🎃 Oxford Farm Pumpkin Patch 2025 - Over & Out! 🎃

What an amazing time we’ve had on the patch this year! With some lovely sunshine 🌞
🧡 Your feedback has been so lovely to hear, and we’re over the moon that you’ve loved visiting us as much as we’ve loved having you here.

As a small family team, every single pumpkin on our patch has been planted from seed by hand in our polytunnel 🌱, then planted out and picked by hand too! We grew a huge range of carving pumpkins and delicious culinary squash.

Our gorgeous candles, wax melts and new diffusers are a collaboration with the wonderful Jane at Cheviot Candle Co 🕯.

We’d like to say a few big thank-yous 🧡
🧡 To our families — for all their help and support, especially our nephews and our sister in law for helping us at the weekends.
🧡 To our friends, customers, regulars and first-timers — you make it all worth it!
🧡 To our two local farmers, Andrew and Aydon — for supplying the bales and wrapping our spooky spiders 🕷️.
🧡 To the lovely groups who visited — Lucky Ducks, Scremerston First School and Prior School — it was such a joy having you on the patch!

Lauren also popped down to St Oswald’s with our pumpkin donation — we can’t wait to see their wonderful creations! 🎨🎃
