Chestnut Bake Shed

Wow, what a summer we have had! It's been amazing! We have been non stop and are ready for the next season where it slows down a bit - phew!
But don't worry, we aren't stopping. We are looking forward to maybe doing a few delivery rounds like we did last year and maybe make some new flavours and do something a bit special!
Until then we have lots of wonderful shops, pubs, cafes that stock our delicious gelato and our Abbyo's Gelato Van & Trailers van and trailers are still out on select days and weekends 🍦
We've made some delicious chocolate orange gelato in pots so they will be flying out soon too. Made with organic orange extract and organic candied orange peel, it's a classy one and it's delicious 🍫🍊

It's one of those we get lots of amazing feedback on 🍦It's rammed full of coconut and it's sooo creamy! Made with Yorkshire Milk & Cream, it's available in both pot sizes in our various stockists across the region.
If you've not tried it, you should. You won't be disappointed 😋

It's the 1st September - wow!! I love this month! Still warm during the day but cosy on a night. It's a month where we gradually start to slow down. Things becomes a little more manageable and that work/life balance starts to equalise 🤣 Are you a fellow September lover?
The ChestnutBakeShed had been fully stocked with gelato and Christina is back of her holidays so good news, cakes will be back this Friday 😁😋
Also, clue in the name, the chestnut trees above are filling nicely with conkers and I've already seen a few on the floor so it's a great place to come conker picking over the next month! 🍂

I made Pumpkin Pie Gelato.... Now I've never tried a pumpkin pie or a pumpkin spice thingy majigy but I've given it a go. Creating a flavour takes time and patience and often the first and second ones get adjusted and tweaked. Let me know what you think, if you see it on our Abbyo's Gelato Van & Trailers menu, ask for a taster.
I started with the pumpkin, just 100% pure natural pumpkin. I added it to the white base, then added more and more and more and kept tasting it.. then I thought ahh that's too pumpkiny so I added some ginger and cinnamon. Then more cinnamon and more and then I think I added too much cinnamon 🤣 Anyway you can all try it and let me know what you think.
