Tony Thompson has been running Bewdley Farm Shop for 30 years but has worked there for 32, as he purchased the

business aged 18 when the previous owner retired.

“Over the years we have built up real rapport with customers and seen their children grow up and then come in with their children. Most of my staff have been with me from day one, so it’s more like an extended family."

“Bewdley is a tourist town and as much as we have a loyal local customer base, we do rely on the tourists coming in. It’s quite unspoilt and you don’t have a lot of commercialism. You can enjoy nice river walks and a lot of people enjoy a picnic down by the river in the summer."

We are still offering FREE LOCAL DELIVERY (approx 10 mile radius) so no need to get wet shopping ☔️, our drivers will bring it straight to your door.
Not interested in the preset boxes, no problem. We have a whole shop packed with the finest, freshest produce.

We all saw the devastation in the aftermath of the wildfires in Stourbridge, and other places yesterday. It was truly heartbreaking to watch the events unfold live on TV & social media 💔 & our hearts go out to all affected.
A massive shout out to our amazing emergency services who prevented even more suffering 🚒. West Midlands Fire Service Officialwmas West Midlands Police & neighbouring services.
While we complained about the unprecedented heat & were able to ‘strip off’, stay indoors or leave work & go home, the firemen (& women) put on heavy apparatus and clothing and went into what looked like the apocalypse.
Well done & thank you to each and everyone one of you, who we sometimes take for granted that you will be there, in times of need. You were all heroes yesterday ❤️🔥 💔 & will continue to be today & in the future.
I’m sure that today we will see more of the devastation, witness awful stories but also hear heartwarming tales of those who helped & the community that came together to support one another ❤️

The front is all set up this morning with some delicious fruits 🍈 🍓🍇🍒🫐
And with temperatures set to reach 35 later, what’s better than a bowl of fresh berries or a slice of watermelon 🍉
Lots of beautiful salad inside & for those who are wanting to stock up, some lovely new season vegetables including delicious runner beans from Ombersley.
Open until 4pm and fully air conditioned. It’s the place to hang out 😎😂

A good old favourite - the Victoria plum makes a come back, which indicates just how fast this summer is going.
