With springs arrival another cycle is complete. It hasn't been the easiest of winters following on from such a hot, dry summer. Winter forage supplies were very short this winter throughout the country. We just about had enough hay to supplement our cows through winter and are relieved to see them back on 100% fresh pasture.
From browsing trees in the heat of summer to daily moves throughout the year we're building resilience into our system all the time.
Local, natural, chemical free, 100% pasture fed beef and lamb available direct from the farm.

Our lovely Dexters move to a new patch of grass every day or two. The fields are managed to ensure the cows have as much fresh grass year round as possible. Very occasionally, we give them a bale to munch on too - still 100% pasture fed even in February!
