An update is due:

The shop is closed and for how long I do not know. All I know is that it won’t be forever.

I’m taking some long overdue rest and retreat and when I return I hope to rebuild our community shop into something stronger and more resilient than it was.

Please just bear with me during this enormously difficult time. There have been big, enormously sad changes in North Aston in the past few weeks but I’m confident we will come out stronger, closer and working with one another rather than against.

Because of a slightly quieter weekend than normal, we have a bit of surplus stock in the shop. So rather than let it go to waste, we have decided to open the shop this TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY, as well as our normal THURSDAY - SUNDAY opening days. The shop will be open 9am-6pm and Amelia and Charlie will be on hand to serve anyone who pops by.

We are also offering free coffee and chilled drinks all day...plus some ice cream samples! Hope to see some of you there...

SUNDAY BARGAINS AT THE NORTH ASTON FARM SHOP....

It's been a great weekend at the shop but we have a few things left over that we'd really like to shift by the end of the day. So we are offering 20% OFF on all fruit & veg, fresh venison and bread for the rest of the day. We also have plenty of ice cream, soft chilled drinks (and slightly harder stuff too) as well as all your normal kitchen essentials.

We will be open till 6pm today, so if you have spent the day at Duns Tew Fete, are knackered and needing some light refreshment (and a good bargain), please pop in and help us stop this delicious food going to waste!

It's so heartening to see so many regular and new customers coming to the shop this weekend, while I attempt to manage it from my hospital bed in London...

Our team are doing a fantastic job of keeping everything fresh and cool in this extreme heat, and thank you also to all the volunteers who have lent a hand to keep the shop going.

We are fully stocked with all the usuals including bread & pastries from Forge house bakery, charcuterie from SaltPig Curing Company, cheeses from Nettlebed Creamery, plus some extral special fruit & veg from Matt Dale (who set up the North Aston Dairy and used to help run North Aston Organics). We have organic milk, cream and yoghurt (including some very refreshing coconut and raspberry flavours), plus ice cream from North Cotswold Ice Cream Co.

We have fresh wild venison, plus frozen organic chicken, pork, beef and ready meals.

Our booze selection is also back to its former self with wines, beers, ciders and plenty of non-alcohol options too - plus loads of soft drinks and kombucha.

We are open till 6pm today, and from 10am-4pm officially tomorrow (but if you're lucky we might stay open until 6pm).

Find us at The Peach Barns in North Aston, OX25 6HX (just follow the signs). And please help us spread the word that we are back open, and business is thriving....

🌿 Fresh deliveries have arrived at North Aston Farm Shop! 🌿

The shelves are looking beautiful again with fresh fruit and vegetables, wild venison, delicious ice cream and plenty more.

And we're not finished yet… this afternoon we're expecting deliveries of fresh milk, trout, charcuterie and even more goodies to fill the shop.

If you've not popped in for a while, this weekend is a lovely time to visit and stock up.

🌿 We're Open Again This Weekend! 🌿

I'm delighted to say that North Aston Farm Shop will be open from Thursday to Sunday this week.

Unfortunately, I'm currently stuck in hospital, so I won't be there in person, but we have a wonderful team and staff keeping things running and I'll be managing everything remotely. Please bear with us if things aren't quite as smooth as usual!

Our opening hours at 9am-6pm, Thurs to Sat and 10am-4pm on Sunday.

A few updates:
🥕 Our usual veg team aren't able to supply us this weekend, but we've secured some fantastic organic produce from a couple of other local suppliers.
🥛 North Aston Dairy are also having production issues so milk supplies will be limited and we have an alternative (and very delicious) range of ice creams.

And finally, we could really do with a few extra pairs of hands. If anyone can spare an hour or two to help any point Thursday–Sunday, we'd be hugely grateful.
