I've been really quiet on here... unfortunately the bakery hasn't. 😂

Posting consistently is genuinely a job in itself, and when things get busy, it's usually the first thing I neglect. 🙈

Meanwhile, behind the very quiet Instagram page, we've been making cakes, cookies, brownies, dessert orders and everything in between.
So here's a little dump of what The Eggless Baker has actually been doing over the last week. 🤎😅

And I've got so many lovely customer messages and orders I've still not shown you!

One day I'll master baking, running a business, answering messages AND remembering to post about all of it. 😂

I've had 4 logos. 👀

And honestly... I think this is finally the one.

When I first started The Eggless Baker, a cupcake made perfect sense. 🧁

Then came another cupcake. 😂

Then I decided to put a cartoon version of myself on the logo... holding a cupcake. 🙈

It was fun, but as the business grew, it started to feel a little too cute for the brand I was building.

So we evolved again.
No cupcake.
Hands behind my back.
Gold outline.
More white space.
More sophistication.

And now, with the latest version, I finally feel like the logo represents where The Eggless Baker is today.

Looking back, I don't think any of the old logos were necessarily "wrong".
They just represented different stages of the journey.
And maybe that's what branding is really about — figuring out who you are as you grow.

People assume every business owner should say yes to bigger opportunities and more money.

I used to think that too.

Walking away from this order was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made because on paper it looked like success.

I went through the numbers, even went to see bigger units I could rent but it just didn't feel right.

In reality, it meant becoming something I never wanted The Eggless Baker to be - a factory like operation making as many products as possible for the cheapest price.

Sometimes growing a business isn't about chasing every opportunity. It's about protecting the reason people fell in love with it in the first place.

Tell me, what would you have done?
