Not far from the stunning North Devon coastline, Ashcroft farm is located just outside the village of Woolsery. Growing free range meat chicken, and tending to a herd of 50-60 beef cattle, the farm side of the business is very busy. Ashcroft is also heavily involved with a stewardship program, where ground is left to return to its natural state, mainly for wildlife and plants. Going hand in hand with this stewardship scheme, are the educational farm walks we offer for groups interested in the program and how it works.
Along side the farm operations, we also have the campsite and DIY livery yard. The campsite, situated opposite the farm, is a 2 acre field, gently sloping, giving a beautiful view of the village nearby. We have large pitches for our campers, with electric hookup, and facilities nearby. With pitches around the hedge line, our campsite boasts a large area of land for out campers while they stay. We focus on being dog friendly, and provide day kennels, and an exercise area for the dogs, although we do ask for them to be kept on a lead around the site. Within the livery yard we offer stables and turnout paddocks for the horses and riders we have at the yard. Please get in contact if you are interested.
