I want to see if I can earn a living from offering handyman and household services to the local community on a “pay what you like, if you like” basis. That means you only pay what you’d like to pay, If you don’t want to pay then the service is free! Whether you n

eed a job doing which will take an hour, a day or on an ongoing regular basis, I'd be happy to do it and you get to chose if and how much I get paid. I believe in the concept of what I’m offering but have no idea whether it will be sustainable so am curious to see how it pans out. Will my experiment fund a normal life with all of the normal family commitments? Only time will tell…

Barefoot Services Offered

Below are some of the services which I have experience in and am confident to undertake. The list is by no means exhaustive so if you have a job which needs doing and is not on the list please by all means ask and if it’s something I’m confident I can do well I’ll do it. If I’m not confident I can do it well I’ll say so and politely decline the job. At the end of the day I want you and me to be happy with the end result and if I don’t think I can achieve that I won’t attempt it. Barefoot Handyman Services:

*Various forms of home improvements including painting and decorating, laying floors, hanging doors and general DIY

*Basic garden maintenance

*Help with house moves and removals including packing, lifting and moving, driving (up to 7.5 ton) and making tea! Barefoot Domestic Services:

*Domestic help such as cleaning, washing and ironing, cooking, organising and odd jobs

*Support services such as help with shopping, trips out and and leisure activities (I’ve been employed as a support worker)

*Help setting up and fixing electronic devices such as TV’s, laptops, PC’s, freeview boxes, tablets, phones etc

Barefoot Entertainment Services:

*I’m also The Barefoot Bubble Man… a street performer. I’ve been doing it for three years. I rock up into a town or city and make super giant bubbles which all the kids love (and most adults!). Like the service I’m offering here, it’s free, so people “pay me” by putting money in my hat… only if they want to!

*I can make bubbles at your child's birthday party and I can even hold workshops where each child gets to make and take home their very own set of bespoke bubble wands
