This month, we’re delighted to be showcasing the wonderful artwork of 17-year-old Rozinah! 💚

Her paintings are vibrant, joyful and full of her sweet personality. One thing she especially loves to paint is FOOD!
(WE OBVIOUSLY APPROVE!) 🍏🍓🍋

Rozinah’s love of art began during lockdown, and she’s been going from strength to strength ever since. Her work has been accepted into the Royal Academy Young Artists’ Online Summer Show, as well as the Z-Open Young Artists Exhibition, Trapezium Art Gallery, and Keighley Creative’s Pigeobition. 🎨👏

She also loves taking part in markets and local art events across Yorkshire, sharing her colourful creations wherever she goes.

So, if you’re looking for something unique, colourful and made by a talented young local artist, come and have a peek at her exhibition - just be warned, you might leave wanting a painting AND a slice of cake 😉 🍰

Today, we were honoured to welcome Chris Grayston to Hedgehog Organics.

After watching the People’s Emergency Briefing, she felt compelled to respond — and she did so by writing a powerful song called “Emergency”, expressing her outrage and, more importantly, pleading with people to take the climate emergency seriously.

Chris sang her song several times over the course of an hour. We joined in, customers joined in, and what started as a song became something much bigger — shared moments of connection, conversation and reflection about the future we are creating.

Thank you to everyone who stopped, listened, sang along and shared their thoughts.

But more importantly, thank you, Chris, for bringing your song, your energy and your determination into our little shop. Thank you for reminding us that we all have a voice, and that when we use it with courage, passion and purpose, we can help make this world a better place. 🌍💚

🎶 COME AND SING “EMERGENCY” WITH CHRIS THIS SATURDAY!

After watching the documentary “People’s Emergency Briefing”, many of us were left deeply moved and worried about the future of our planet.

Fabulous Chris Grayston has turned those feelings into a powerful song: “EMERGENCY.” 🎶

This Saturday, Chris will sing it for us at Hedgehog Organics.

Come and join us. Her voice may be soft, but together we can make the message loud. For our planet, and for the future we want to protect. 🌎❤️
