☕ WE’RE HIRING – CAFÉ MANAGER 🧱

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Café Manager to join us at Brick Bank Café in Bingley and help us take the café to the next level!

But this is more than just a café job. ❤️

Brick Bank Café works alongside Specialist Autism Services, Autism Bricks UK and Sacar, with all profits helping to support people on the autism spectrum. So while great food, coffee and customer service are a huge part of what we do, there’s a much bigger purpose behind it too.

You’ll take the lead on the day-to-day running of the café, working alongside our cooks, staff and volunteers, helping develop what we offer and bringing your own ideas to help the café continue to grow.

We’re looking for someone with café, hospitality and customer service experience who’s organised, positive, energetic and happy to get stuck in. Supervisory, catering management or barista experience would be a bonus.

💷 £29,459 per annum (full-time)
🕐 Full-time preferred – part-time considered (minimum 4 days)
📍 Bingley
📅 Weekend working required

☀️🧱 We can’t believe the summer holidays are coming to an end! 🧱☀️

The last few weeks have absolutely flown by, but we’ve loved every minute of it. From busy tables and brilliant builds to new faces, familiar faces and plenty of summer fun, it’s been a fantastic few weeks at Brick Bank. 💛

Whether you’re starting school for the very first time, moving up a year, changing schools, or you’re a parent, carer, guardian or parental figure finally getting a well-earned rest now the kids are heading back 😅… we wish you all the very best for the new school year.

And don’t worry — the building doesn’t stop just because the holidays do! We can’t wait to see you again for your next visit and your next build. 🧱

And if you want to squeeze in one last bit of summer holiday LEGO fun…

🧱🎉 TODAY’S THE DAY! 🎉🧱

The kit swap is complete and we’ve now got 24 new models added to or swapped onto the Brick Bank menu! 👀

And this time… we’re not teasing any of them. No clues, no sneak peeks, no spoilers — you’ll just have to come in, grab the menu and discover them for yourself! 😄

We also want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s visited us over the summer holidays. 💛 It’s been brilliant seeing so many new and familiar faces getting stuck into building, eating, drinking and creating with us.

We genuinely can’t believe there’s only ONE WEEK of the summer holidays left! 😳☀️

☀️🧱 What a week it’s been!! 🧱☀️

From yet another heatwave — we hope you’ve all managed to keep cool, hydrated and safe. We might even have sneaked in a cheeky little sunbathe with a Brymor Ice Cream at one point… purely for quality control, obviously. 😎🍦

Then we had the eclipse! 🌒 Did you manage to catch it?

We watched it through colanders… but don’t worry, we didn’t “strain” our eyes. 🤦‍♂️😂

And to round the week off, our brilliant team of volunteers have been very busy behind the scenes sorting, checking and preparing new kits for the menu…

☀️🧱 The sunshine might be making a comeback, but we’re loving seeing so many of you still coming in, getting stuck into the LEGO and spending a bit of time building with us! 💛

We’re always incredibly grateful for every LEGO donation we receive too. Whether it’s a bag of loose bricks, a much-loved set, or simply photos of something brilliant you’ve built at home, we genuinely love seeing it all.

And this week, we’ve been very lucky indeed… 👀

We’ve had a few unopened, retired LEGO sets donated to us — all complete, still boxed and in fantastic condition.

So we’ve decided to go a little bit wild and put them up for sale! 😄

If you’re a fan of Game Boy, Indiana Jones, Ecto-1, Friends, The Office, Harry Potter and more, there might just be something with your name on it.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if one catches your eye, don’t hang about!

☀️🧱 Where has this week gone?! 🧱☀️

It only feels like five minutes ago we were saying hello to the summer holidays, and somehow it’s already Saturday!

It’s been another brilliant week at Brick Bank, with lots of familiar faces, plenty of new ones and, as always, loads of fantastic LEGO building going on.

We’ll be on Bingley Market Square for Northern Indie Collective’s Yorkshire Day Market, alongside a fantastic line-up of independent traders. Come and say hello, have a browse and enjoy everything the market has to offer.

☀️🧱 What a fantastic first few days of the summer holidays it’s been! 🧱☀️

It’s been brilliant to welcome so many new faces through the doors, as well as plenty of familiar ones too. Seeing everyone getting stuck into the LEGO, creating masterpieces and making memories is exactly what summer at Brick Bank is all about! 💛

🚨 Today’s post does come with a little warning though… 🚨

New LEGO sets are incoming! 👀🧱

That does mean a few of our current kits will be making way for some exciting new arrivals. So, if there’s a particular set you’ve had your eye on building, we’d recommend planning a visit sooner rather than later… just in case it heads into retirement!

And the fun doesn’t stop there…

This Saturday we’ll be joining in the Northern Indie Collective Yorkshire Day Market on Bingley Market Square, with lots of fantastic local stalls, community spirit and, of course, plenty of LEGO fun from us too.

⚽🧱 The World Cup may be coming to an end, and England haven’t quite brought it home this time… but we’re still in high spirits at Brick Bank! ☕💛
