We’re busy putting the finishing touches to everything ready for a fantastic day tomorrow, and we’ve got one more thing to announce…

🔎 The Brick Bank Scavenger Hunt launches tomorrow!

Pick up a hunt sheet from the café or one of our stalls and see if you can find all 20 hidden minifigure stands around town.

Collect the clues, solve the mystery phrase and return your completed sheet to Brick Bank Café to be entered into a prize draw to win a Mystery LEGO Kit! 🎁

⚽☕ Happy Thursday everyone! ☕⚽

While England may be off to a flying start in their World Cup campaign, it’s given us an even bigger boost as we head into the final countdown to our 1st Birthday Bash! 🎉🧱

With just a few days to go, we’re definitely feeling like we’re into the last few minutes of extra time now… and thankfully there’s no VAR needed to confirm we’re excited! 😄

Before we get to the big day though…

👶 Bingley Baby Social is back today from 11am–1pm.

All parents, carers and little ones are welcome to join us for a play, a brew and a catch-up in a relaxed and friendly environment 💛

As for the Birthday Bash, preparations are really gathering pace and we’re hoping to absolutely knock it out of the park… or perhaps put it in the back of the net ⚽🎂

We can’t wait to celebrate with you all and thank everyone who has supported us over the last year.

Have a fantastic Thursday and we’ll hopefully see you soon for a build, a brew or a Baby Social catch-up!

As we celebrate our first birthday, we wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped make Brick Bank what it is today.

To our customers, supporters, volunteers, friends and families – whether you’ve visited once, visited every week, attended an event, donated LEGO or shared one of our posts, you’ve played a part in our journey.

A special thank you goes to our team too. While some of them are a little camera shy (and would probably disappear behind a pile of LEGO if we asked for a group photo! 😄), every one of them has helped make Brick Bank the welcoming place it is today.

From those who were here before day one to our newest additions this year, thank you for all your hard work and enthusiasm.

And of course, a huge thank you to Martin and the Autism Bricks UK volunteers, who keep all things LEGO running behind the scenes and help bring so many of our activities and events to life.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together over the last year and can’t wait to see what Year Two brings.

This Saturday we’ll be celebrating with fantastic stalls organised in partnership with Northern Indie Collective, plenty of LEGO fun, Brick Bank activities and a family play area sponsored by Bingley Baby Social 💛

👶 Did you know Bingley Baby Social meets at Brick Bank three times a week?

We’re bursting with excitement for the day and, as we count down to our first birthday celebration, we thought we’d kick the week off with a little Did You Know? feature…

💛 Did you know that every visit to Brick Bank Café helps support the work of Autism Bricks UK and Specialist Autism Services?

For over 25 years, Specialist Autism Services has worked exclusively with autistic adults (18+) and their families across Yorkshire, providing autism-specific support and opportunities.

🧩 Autism Bricks UK was founded in 2016 by a group of autistic adults with a shared passion for LEGO®, creating opportunities for learning, social connection, skills development and community involvement.

Together, they’re helping make a real difference to the lives of autistic adults across the region, and we’re incredibly proud to work alongside them.

So whether you’re popping in for a coffee, a build, a family visit or one of our events, you’re helping support something much bigger than just a café.

As we approach our first birthday, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited, supported, shared our posts, donated LEGO and helped us grow over the last year.

🎉🧱 One week today we’ll be celebrating our 1st Birthday! 🧱🎉

It’s hard to believe that in just seven days’ time we’ll be celebrating a whole year of Brick Bank Café, and we’re busy putting the finishing touches to what we hope will be a fantastic community day 💛

But before we get there, we’ve got a busy day ahead today!

🎬 This morning you’ll find us at Bingley Arts Centre, hosting a LEGO activity session after the film.

🎪 Then this afternoon we’re heading over to Ring O' Bells, Shipley for their Family Fun Day, bringing plenty of LEGO fun along with us.

So whether you’re joining us in town, at the Arts Centre, the Ring O’ Bells or popping into the café for a coffee and a build, we’d love to see you ☕🧱

Well… the weather’s not quite got the memo that it’s June yet, has it?
Don’t worry though, we’re currently busy behind the scenes doing our very best sun dance to bring it back… because surely it can’t stay away for long.☀️💃🕺

Whatever the weather decides to do, we’re excited because there’s now just over a week to go until our 1st Birthday Bash! 🎉🎂🧱

It’s hard to believe that we’re already approaching our first birthday, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the support you’ve shown us over the last year.

👶☕ It’s Thursday… which means Bingley Baby Social is back! ☕👶

Join us today from 11am–1pm for another relaxed and friendly Bingley Baby Social session here at Brick Bank Café.

Whether you’re a regular or thinking of joining us for the first time, all parents, carers and little ones are welcome 💛

There’s plenty of space to chat, make new friends, enjoy a brew and let the little ones play, with our DUPLO and toys always on hand too.

And while we’re talking about things coming up…

🎉🎂 Our 1st Birthday Bash on Saturday 20th June is getting closer, and we’re doing something a little different!

Alongside our DJ keeping the tunes flowing throughout the day, we’re also planning an Open Mic Session and we’d love to hear from local musicians, singers and performers who’d like to get involved.

🧱🎉 Well Bingley… you did it! 🎉🧱

Over the Bingley 26 weekend, lots of you stopped by to help add a brick or two to our community LEGO mosaic, and thanks to your efforts we’ve now completed it!

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, whether you placed a single brick or stayed to help build a whole section. It was fantastic to see so many people of all ages working together to create something special for the community and as part of a brilliant weekend celebrating the town at its best💛

We’re just putting the finishing touches to the mosaic before it goes on display in the café, and of course it’ll be taking pride of place at our 1st Birthday Bash in less than two weeks’ time 🎂🧱

Speaking of which…

We’re busy behind the scenes planning what we hope will be a brilliant community celebration on Saturday 20th June, both in the café and on Bingley Market Square.

There’ll be plenty going on throughout the day and we can’t wait to share more details with you soon.
