This colony was not doing well after winter. I put them in a nuc box and they still seemed to be quite weak for some time. They are now blooming and have been transferred back to there hive.
I did trap over 60 queen wasps in the apairy this spring so I think that has helped.

These bees are doing well and expanding well int the double brood.

The life cycle of a bee begins when the queen lays a tiny white egg inside a hexagonal wax cell of the honeycomb.
After about three days, the egg hatches into a larva, a small worm-like form that is fed by worker bees.
The larva grows rapidly, molting several times before the cell is sealed with wax.
Inside the sealed cell, it transforms into a pupa, gradually developing legs, wings, and eyes.
Finally, a fully formed adult bee emerges from the cell, ready to take on its role in the hive.

The sun is out and the bees are very busy bringing in pollen and indication brood is present.
As there were an excessive amount of wasps around last year. I thought it would be best to do some spring trapping.
