Thanks to the Saudi Arabia moon sighting committee (Yes, that’s actually a thing) for spotting the new moon last night signalling the end of a month-long fasting of Ramadan and the beginning of the Eid-Al-Fitr festival.

You know the drill… as soon as you get the go-ahead from your local mosque, you’ll find your phone buzzing with Eid messages from family and friends. Oh, and let’s not forget the awfully cheesy, blinged out Eid posters that aunties and uncles send around on WhatsApp messages. Gotta love it!

Wishing a happy and healthy Eid al-Fitr to all those celebrating, whichever day you choose to celebrate it in.
