Six by Nico
Colmore Row, Birmingham đ
Tried the Seoul tasting menu at Six by Nico and honestly had such a good experience. The 6 course menu is ÂŁ49, with optional snack add ons and wine or cocktail pairings. I went for the cocktail pairing personally found it a little too sweet and a bit much for me, but thatâs just my opinion. The menu is running from 20th April to 31st May.
Course 1 â Cho Yoonsunâs Hand Cut Noodlesâ¨Chicken consommĂŠ, pork dumpling, crispy wheat noodles.
Course 2 â Bibimbapâ¨Slow cooked truffled egg yolk, gochujang, golden enoki mushroom, house pickles.
Course 3 â Bindaetteok from Gwangjang Marketâ¨Mung bean pancake, smoked vinegar greens, shallot salad.
Course 4 â From Nico, For Seoulâ¨Black po***ck, Seoul Korean sauce, mussel & clam, wilted greens, ssamjang.
Course 5 â Korean Fried Chickenâ¨Crispy chicken, red pepper, spring onion, mooli salad namul, Korean barbecue sauce.
Course 6 â Doughnuts & Matchaâ¨Brioche doughnut, matcha & white chocolate crĂŠmeux, sour cherry.
Every dish was delicious and surprisingly filling I was absolutely stuffed by the end. A really enjoyable menu with lots of flavour throughout and the service was great.
